UP is made from the compound composed of the oxides of calcium ,aluminium or magnisium and the passivated aluminium material. It can accelerate the hydration of silicate cement and the early “AFt” formation which may bring a small volume expansion , as well as produce a expansion pressure as a result of the reaction of the passivated aluminium material to the cement slurry. The two effects as mentioned above can make up the volume contraction during cement hydration, enhance the binding strength between the casing pipes and the borehole wall, and greatly increase the compressive strength of the cement

1. To prepare ordinary density slurry: 2~3%(BWOC)
2. To prepare lower density slurry: 4~5%,(BWOC)
